Major General Colbert Delacroix was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 255th Royal Mechanized Infantry Division from at least 2764 until 2765.[1]

Born in France on Terra, Delacroix was one of the most eccentric officers in the SLDF, believing himself the reincarnation of one of Napoleon Bonaparte's generals. Consistent with this conceit, Delacroix rode a horse in the field, carried a replica marshal’s baton and dressed up in nineteenth century clothing when off-duty. Despite these oddities, he was reputed to be a master strategist and tactician.[1]
Following the Periphery Uprising in 2765, Delacroix was no longer in command of the 255th Royal Mechanized Infantry Division, with Jack Lucas being promoted by General Aaron DeChavilier to take over the unit.[2]
