General Cristian Greene was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's Nineteenth Army from late 2763 to at least 2764.[1][2]
History[edit]
Greene rose to command of Nineteenth Army in 2763, after its previous CO General Abhinav Hammond was promoted to take charge of SLDF Reserve Command. Based on the Taurian Concordat, where Commanding General Aleksandr Kerensky himself was personally present, Greene was somewhat uncertain of his authority, despite Kerensky being careful not to step into his chain of command.
As with his predecessor General Hammond, Greene met weekly with Protector Nicoletta Calderon and daily with a representative of her military, in an attempt to get them to act against (or at least stop covertly supporting) the Taurian Freedom Army. The constant low-level combat experienced by his Army fighting these elements, across a wide expansive of worlds, had Greene convinced he needed more troops and more mobility in order to counteract their efforts.
One key success achieved by Greene was a raid on the Taurian world of Camadeierre, where acting on intelligence provided by Rim Worlds Republic leader Stefan Amaris, Greene was able to corner and defeat a number of important leaders of the TFA.[1]
