Cyrus McCarron was an officer from the Capellan Confederation.

By 3150 Cyrus was being groomed by his father to be the future commander of the entire McCarron's Armored Cavalry Brigade and was seen as his second-in-command.[1]
He acted in his father's stead and was present in a meeting on Sian, alongside Sang-shao, Lindsey Baxter, the Fourth MAC's commander. There, Capellan Cancellor Daoshen Liao ordered the Fourth MAC to spearhead an assault on Northwind, with the Fourth MAC working alongside other Capellan regiments in coordination with DCMS forces. Despite being intimidated by Daoshen, Cyrus insisted on the MAC keeping independent command.[3]
Despite a pitched battle, the MAC was not able to secure a victory on Battle of Northwind, which led to the Chancellor moving to punish them by changing its leadership on March 3151. Xavier protested his removal from the command of the MAC and Daoshen executed him, and threatened the same to any officer which protested the decision. Cyrus, cautiously, didn't protest or attempt to save his father, but instead offered to replace him as the new head of the MAC. Daoshen refused and instead named his daughter Danai Liao-Centrella as the new commander of the MAC. Cyrus cautiously signaled his disappointment, but Daoshen responded: "Consider yourself fortunate that I have not struck the name 'McCarron' from the Brigade entirely." Cyrus was allowed to retain his current rank in the MAC, now under Danai's leadership.[4]
