Loremaster Dalk Carns was a Bloodnamed Clan Wolf MechWarrior during Operation REVIVAL.[1]

Prior to the Battle of Tukayyid, then Star Captain Dalk Carns served in the Alpha Command Star of Trinary Galaxy Command within the Bronze Keshik under Galaxy Commander Mikel Furey.[1]
Sometime after 3052, Dalk would rise to the rank of Loremaster as a hardline proponent of the Crusader philosophy.
On 10 June, 3057, Dalk Carns, working with other Crusader elements in Clan Wolf, delivered an indictment against Ulric Kerensky on Tamar. The initial charges accused Ulric of colluding with ComStar in the Battle of Tukayyid and of elevating an agent of the Inner Sphere (i.e. Phelan Ward) to the position of Khan. On July 4, 3057, the trial against Ulric began with Star Captains Vlad and Marialle Radick representing the prosecution. Ulric spoke against these charges in front of the Clan Wolf Council. When the council appeared to favor Ulric against the charges, Dalk spontaneously added a third charge of genocide, claiming that the charge was "accidentally" left off the initial document. Dalk claimed that by honoring the Treaty of Tukayyid, Ulric was engaging in an attempt to destroy Clan Wolf's genetic legacy by preventing three generations of Wolf warriors (the Clans created a new generation of warriors every five years and the Treaty of Tukayyid was to stand for 15 years) from seeing serious combat, aside from Trials, training exercises or raiding against other Clans. This lack of combat would doom Clan Wolf to extinction when the invasion resumed according to Dalk. Ulric, knowing he had been outmaneuvered as the charges were too heinous for the Clan Council, asked that the trial be moved to the Grand Council for deliberation.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
Dalk's actions would directly lead to the Refusal War and the severing of Clan Wolf into two halves.
