Daniel Jaranto was the Count of Tsukude and Planetary Governor from at least 3129 to 3136.[1][2][3][4]

A lawyer by training, Jaranto was married to his wife Countess Leslie Jaranto since 3121, and Governor of Tsukude from at least 3129. In 3133 Jaranto, together with his closest aid and Tsukude Minister of Justice Raul Tate, were the subject to a political scandal following accusations of sexual assault by number of female palace staffers.
Jaranto however blamed his local political opponents, including Baron Daryl Scott-Haipei, for inventing the charges for political purposes. Despite the scandal and attempts to prosecute the Governor, he was successful in retaining his position. He was was last seen in July 3136, prior to the defeat of the Tsukude planetary government, by insurgents claiming loyalty to Clan Wolf.[2][1]
