Biography
Serving the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery for many years, David Kellam exemplified the reconnaissance and raiding skills as well reputation for terror of Night Stalkers. A ruthless combatant, David Kellam was also known as accomplished and lethal duellist, by 3025 he was noted to have killed at least two men in duels.[1] In the lull between the Fourth Succession War and the Ronin War Kellam killed three other officers in duels after being snubbed by them in the required social convocations of the DCMS. His tenacity and success on the battlefield, having the highest recorded kills among the MechWarriors of the Night Stalkers, excuse his surly behavior with his superiors.[2]
Despite his taciturn and abrupt manner, Kellam was promoted to the rank of Tai-i and command of a strike company within the Night Stalkers following the heavy losses suffered by the unit during the War of 3039 due to a lack of qualified officers. Despite this Kellam does not socialize with his men, barely speaking to them at all outside of combat, likewise having no friends or family either. Yet even with his surly manner, Kellam strangely seems suited to command and his strike company is highly successful.[2]
