The Deimos was a Union-class DropShip operated by the Gray Death Legion by the time of their attack on Sirius V in 3028,[1] and up until at least 3055.[2]

It should not be confused with the vessel of the same name that was originally one of the two DropShips associated with the Merchant-class JumpShip Invidious. This first Deimos, an old and decrepit freighter, apparently served with the Gray Death Legion alongside its Union-class namesake by the time of the Sirius campaign[3] but was not mentioned again afterwards.

  3. The JumpShip Invidious and its two DropShips, "merchanters converted to troop transports", are explicitly mentioned as part of the Gray Death Legion's Transport Division in The Price of Glory, pp. 17-18, but they are not the same ships as the Union-class Deimos and Phobos deployed to Sirius V and later Helm as 'Mech transports.
