Description
Den of Wolves is a novel that announced online by Catalyst Game Labs as an unlockable stretch goal during their crowdfunding effort for the BattleTech: Clan Invasion [Kickstarter campaign] which ran from 18 July 2019 to August 18 2019. The novel was unlocked when the Kickstarter reached $700,000 USD, and the stretch goal indicated that all those backing at the $30 USD pledge level or above would receive a free digital copy.
The novel is set as an origin story for Wolf's Dragoons.

Having fought for and against every Inner Sphere House, the Dragoons are one of the most storied combat commands in the BattleTech universe. This novel will explore their origins as an adhoc Clan scouting force, walking the line between the Crusader and Warden faction of the Clans.

- The Kickstarter advert for this novel states that "All backers of RISTAR and above will receive the digital format for the first novel." While the description of Den of Wolves as the first novel may be a typo - noting the term "Crusader and Warden faction" rather than "Crusader and Warden factions" in the blurb - it may also imply that this is the first novel in a series of two or more planned novels.
