Esmeralda (3018 - 3057) was a MechWarrior with the Black Thorns mercenary unit.

Esmeralda dueled on Solaris VII, and by 3053, she served as chief mechanic, chief technician, and first chair for Carstairs Stables.[2] She did not achieve real success until lance-on-lance dueling became popular.[1] She met Jeremiah Rose in 3054 when he talked himself into a lance-on-lance duel between Warwick Stables and Carstairs Stables. After the successful conclusion of that duel, Esmeralda and stablemate Badicus O'Shea joined Rose's nascent mercenary unit.[3]
Death[edit]
Esmeralda died fighting on Courchevel.[1]
Personality & Traits[edit]
As of 3053, Esmeralda was observant and in good physical shape. She gathered extensive intelligence on her employer, prospective stablemates, and when possible, any arena opponents she would have. Esmeralda was also an avid drinker.[2]
BattleMechs[edit]
On Solaris, at the start of the season that began in March 3053, Esmeralda piloted a battered Hunchback.[2] Later in her gladiatorial career, she piloted a -7M Warhammer. She took her BattleMech with her when she left Solaris to join the Black Thorns.[3] Following the Black Thorns' campaign on Borghese, she piloted a salvaged Mad Cat.
