System Information
X:Y Coordinates-76.782 : -225.435[e]

The Fujidera system was home to at least habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the Oriente Protectorate province of the Free Worlds League.[1][2]

System Description

The Fujidera system is located near the Milnerton and Oriente systems.[1][2]

System History

The Fujidera system was colonised during the First Exodus from Terra and was a member of the Federation of Oriente prior to the formation of the Free Worlds League.[3]

Planetary History

Star League Era

Fujidera was one of some fifty-one heavily contested worlds to have been placed under Terran Hegemony authority as a jointly-administered world during the Age of War or Star League era. During the First Succession War Fujidera would once again became a flashpoint between the Free Worlds League and Capellan Confederation.[33] The Terran satellite office on Fujidera was closed down between the departure of the bulk of the Star League Defense Force along with Commanding General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in late 2784 and the spring of 2786.[10]

First Succession War

As a result of the political deadlock between Thaddeus Marik and Duke Carter Allison of Oriente the various worlds of the Duchy of Oriente were left without federal support and vulnerable to attack from Capellan Confederation forces. When an attack on Oriente resulted in no visible support from the League government, Capellan Confederation Armed Forces swiftly launched another attack, with the CCAF conquering Fujidera in April 2805.[10] Shortly after the failed second invasion of Oriente, Duke Allison left for Atreus, intent on reconciling with the Captain-General. The CCAF noted Allison's departure and immediately launched a third attack on Oriente, recalling CCAF troops from several nearby worlds including Fujidera to take part in the invasion.[11]

Thaddeus Marik was aware of Duke Allison's departure, and issued orders redeploying forces and WarShips from the Principality of Regulus; he had initially intended to recapture Fujidera and the nearby Fletcher system to use as a springboard for further attacks, but in light of the sudden Capellan mobilization for a third assault on Oriente, Thaddeus deployed his forces to the Oriente system instead.[11]

Securing Oriente by the end of 2805, FWLM forces went on to recapture Fujidera and Fletcher over the course of the next year—as well as capturing Lukla and Sappho, two Capellan worlds that had been captured previously during the War, only to be recaptured by the Capellans during the invasions of Oriente.[11]
