Gregory Carson was a founding member of Clan Mongoose and the Carson Bloodname.[1]

Gregory was the second son of former SLDF Major General and Clan Mongoose warrior James Carson. In the initial Trials to select Nicholas Kerensky's 800 Clan warriors, James Carson had succeed, but his son Gregory just missed the cut.
Following this Gregory served in an auxiliary capacity for Clan Mongoose, until his father's death in 2814 during an assassination attempt on Nicholas Kerensky. In the aftermath of this event and in honor of his father, Gregory was inducted into Clan Mongoose via an abbreviated series of trials, for which Gregory was the only participant. This unusual procedure was supported by the ilKhan, though not without complaints by some, including the leaders of Clan Star Adder.[2]
Carson later participated in Operation KLONDIKE, ilKhan Nicholas Kerensky's campaign to reconquer the Pentagon Worlds.[1]
