Hauptmann General

A military rank unique to the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces, a Hauptmann-General is the commanding officer of one of the five core areas of each Alliance province. Typically these core areas are not combat areas, so most of the Hauptmann-General's duties are administrative in nature.[1] The naval equivalent of this rank is Kommodore.
