History[edit]
The eldest son of Count Achilles Germayne, Hector followed in his father's footsteps to become ruler of Basalt upon Achilles's death. Siring two children, Bianca Germayne and Bernard Germayne, he also cared for his niece Sarah Germayne and nephew Teyte Germayne following his brother Ivan Germayne's death in 3118.[1]
He remained Count and Governor until 3133, when he passed on his title and office to his daughter Bianca, following suffering the misfortune of a serious injury and the betrayal of his son Bernard.[4]
Notes[edit]
- Germayne is noted as Legate rather than Governor in one source,[2] swapped with the individual otherwise named as Legate by other sources.[3] As the Dark Age: Republic Worlds (3130) listing of Republican planetary governors and legates is generally relied upon by other canon sources such as Dark Age: 3132-3134 INN over the one in Dark Age: Republic of the Sphere its information has similarly been preferred as correct for the purposes of this article.
