Imrich Donner was the commanding officer of the 123rd Aerospace Interceptor Wing as of 2785.[1]

Major Donner, commanding the 123rd Aerospace Interceptor Wing, was stationed on Towne in 2785. When the First Succession War began, elements of both the Capellan Confederation and Draconis Combine's militaries raided Towne in February 2785. Donner and Major Colin Wilkins, the commander of the Fifty-sixth Avalon Hussars, disagreed on which of the two raiding forces should take priority. Donner's belief was that the Capellan Seventh Tikonov Lancers were the greater threat and Wilkins' strenuous objections meant that both raiding forces made planetfall virtually unopposed. After two weeks of raiding and thousands of civilian and hundreds of milita deaths, the raiders finally left after militia resistance stiffened - with almost no pressure from either the Avalon Hussars or 123rd Interceptors.[1]
When the Draconis Combine returned in December, this time with plans to conquer and the full strength of the Fifth Dieron Regulars at hand, Donner and Wilkins finally set aside their differences in order to present a united front towards the invading Draconis forces. Unfortunately, the regional loyalties and mutual distrust that prevented Donner and Wilkins' earlier cooperation also applied to the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns' command structure. Reinforcements for the beleaguered Towne defenders wouldn't arrive for two months and when they did arrive in February 2786, both the 123rd Interceptors and Fifty-sixth Hussars were no more.[1]
