John Joseph Gardiner was the Prime Minister of the Filtvelt Coalition as of 3138.
History[edit]
John Joseph Gardiner was born to farmers on Marielund in the latter years of the Jihad and he entered public service at a young age. His first office was as district representative of his home province, continuing to climb the political ranks until he was elected Planetary Governor of Marielund in 3113. He worked tirelessly to fight the problems facing his citizens and to improve their living conditions, this gained him much popularity winning Gardiner's re-election as planetary governor. In 3138, Gardiner was elected to succeed the previous Prime Minister Berko Okeke, where some of his first acts were to start an education exchange program with several of the Federated Suns' Periphery March worlds and negotiate trade deals that boosted the economy of nearly every Coalition world.[1]
