Director Joseph Larsus was the leader of Pleione's Word of Blake aligned government until 3078.[1][2]

Larsus was the head of Pleione's Government in May 3078, when the world was liberated by the Capellan Confederation. In retaliation for the Blakist's use of tactical Nuclear Weapons in the last stages of their defense of the world, the Capellan's publicly executed Director Larsus and a large number of his collaborators, declaring Larsus to have been a dictator.[1][2]

While Director Larsus' death is noted in some sources to have occurred in May 3077[1], this appears to have been in error, and it was actually in May 3078.[2]
