History[edit]

Noran Kerensky was a member of the Clan Wolf touman, and also of Kerensky Bloodname. Sometime prior to 3151, she achieved a Bloodname. During the Battle of Terra he was a Star Colonel serving in Beta Galaxy, taking command of the Second Wolf Assault Cluster, which she nicknamed the Howling Furies.[2]

On January 27 3151, on Luoyang, China, she was summoned by the Wolf Khan Alaric Ward to his HQ. The Khan was with Ramiel Bekker, and gave her another Cluster from Tau Galaxy, with a mission for both: to attack the Republic's Fourteenth Hastati Sentinels, and keep them distracted as a diversion, to make believe Paladin Drummond than she was facing two full galaxies. Kalidessa didn't like it, but agreed. A day later, Kalidess and her Furies were facing again the Hastatis, where she downed a Lich drone. Once again, as the Republic retreated, she didn't allow her troops to attack them, as had been ordered by Alaric. The 4 February, Kalidessa, on the chinese city of Zhengzhou, saw fall a Republic's Treburuna, piloted by Paladin Tyriya Drummond. She took her sword as isorla.[3]

On February 10, Kalidessa led her Cluster to face a Republic counterattack, Operation Four Horsemen, led by titanic Aress, leading the Wolf attack. She faced one of the last Ares pilots. Kerensky managed to down him and impressed, convinced the pilot, Jack Traver, and his crew to surrender and became her bondsmen.[4]

When the Republic launched a headhunting attack against the Wolf and Falcons, Kalidessa saw the fallen General Chance Vickers, protecting her and calling for medical help.[5]

Despite being very busy, Kalidessa still found time to see Jack Traver and his crew, her bondsmen, teaching them about the Clan Wolf, with some success.[6]

On the third day of the IlClan Trial, Alaric Ward ordered all reliable bondsmen to be freed, so Kalidessa freed Jack Traver and his crew, making them fully Wolf warriors, welcoming them into her Clan, amongst with a joke. She had lost her 'Mech the second day, under a Falcon's Death From Above attack, so she had to request a new one. She was assigned to an Amarok. She didn't want to change to the new 'Mech, but without alternatives, she agreed.[7]

During the last day of the Trial, Klaidessa faced a Falcon Jade Hawk, which attempted to launch another DOA attack. Luckily for her, the Amarok was designed to counter them, and she defeated it. In the last stages of the battle, she was threatened by a Falcon's Dire Wolf, but Traver and his Ares, though heavily damaged, rammed it, downing it and saving the Colonel. Consequently, their 'Mech was downed too, and Traver's gunner died.[8]

On April 27, after being condecorated by the BloodRibbon, and assisted to Aleksandr Kerensky's burial on Unity City, Kalidessa talked with Jack Traver and Mia Fowler, her only surviving crewman. She felt sad when they announced their intention to abandon Terra, but reluctantly agreed to let them depart honorably.[9]

BattleMech[edit]

Kalidessa's OmniMech during all the Battle of Terra was a Dire Wolf. After losing it, she had to replace it with a Amarok[10]

Personality[edit]

Kalidessa was a reputed, tenacious and daring Wolf warrior, but she also respected her soldiers and even enemies. She didn't appear to show any hate for Freeborns and with her bondsman, no matters how busy she was, she always found time to see them and teach them what it meant to be a Wolf.[11]
