Leftenant-General Karl Lopiz was the commanding officer of the Third Republican Guard from at least 3062 until his death in the FedCom Civil War.[1][3]

A graduate of Sakhara Academy, Karl Lopiz was an officer in the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth as of 3057.[3]
Operation Guerrero[edit]
Following the headhunting attacks of Free Worlds League commandos, Lopiz took charge of the unit's retreat from Van Diemen IV, though he was forced to surrender to the Third Oriente Hussars. He was injured in their final stand, losing an arm and both legs, despite the medical care he received during their two-month-long detention. Lopiz had cybernetic replacements for his lost limbs but was unable to pilot a 'Mech after such an injury.[3]

Death[edit]
Leftentant General Lopiz was killed in Tikograd, Tikonov within the Earthwerks factory against Allied forces, specifically the 10th Lyran Guards and 244th Division's battle armor infantry.[1]
