Colonel Linda Griffin was the commander of the Third Taurian Lancers from at least 3145 until her death in 3151.[1][2]

Griffin, with the Third Taurian Lancers, was based on Lindsay as of 3145.[1]
In 3151, Griffin lead the Third Taurian Lancers on a series of punitive raids into the Federated Suns Capellan March, as part of the Concordat's revenge for Duke Alexander Hasek earlier invasion. On this campaign, the Lancers brought the captured Duke Hasek himself with them against orders, in an attempt to demoralize their Davion opponents.[3]
This campaign commenced with successful raids against the militia guarded worlds of Wrentham, Shaunavon and Ashley. Colonel Griffin used Duke Hasek to demand the defending forces allow the raids to be carried out without resistance, even threating to executing him if a Mercenary unit garrisoning Ashley did not surrender, though her bluff was called by Rex Connelly of Rex's Red Rangers.[4]
Moving to Aucara however, they faced a regular Armed Forces of the Federated Suns unit, the Seventh Syrtis Fusiliers. A much stiffer test than the militia Griffin had faced earlier, Griffin's dead body was pulled out of her broken BattleMech by Fusiliers Battle Armor only an hour after landing, resulting in the Lancers routing and leaving the world after suffering more than thirty percent casualties.[5]
Following her death, Griffin's shattered neurohelmet was kept as a trophy by the Seventh Syrtis Fusiliers, being used as a drinking vessel during the hazing of new Fusilier Leftenants.[6]
