The Luthien Armor Works Security Company was an ad hoc company tasked with defending the Luthien Armor Works operations on Luthien. Its members were survivors from units previously destroyed in the initial battles of the Clan Invasion.
During the Battle of Luthien in 3052, Clan Smoke Jaguar, operating under false intelligence, sent only a Star of BattleMechs to destroy the Luthien Armor Works operations. They were expecting a force of second-line militia, only to encounter a unit made up of front-line soldiers who had faced the Clans before and survived.
