Political Affiliation

Planetary Info

Pinard was one of the core systems of the Taurian Concordat. It was the location of several important industrial sites. Daniel, the capital city, is located on the Yvon continent. The other two continents are named Cecile and Drummond.[1]

Planetary History

Reunification War

During the Reunification War the SLDF's III Corps assaulted the world. In 2587 AeroSpace Fighters from the Corps used nuclear weapons on each of the world's military installations. At the same time other SLDF fighters hit large industrial complexes with chemical and nerve agents. Once III Corps ground units secured each of those locations, their WarShip support destroyed cities around the industrial sites with orbital bombardment. The defending Taurians used nuclear and chemical strikes of their own, but by the end of 2587 the world was firmly in Star League hands.[49]
