Robert Doucette was a technician at a Corean Enterprises research facility on New Avalon.[1]

History[edit]

During his training on Thorin, he was assigned an ancient Hussar.[5]

He was one of the technicians assigned to the Corean Enterprises' Legionnaire prototype project.[1]

He lost his family in 3063 in Thorin, and Aremas Heuaventas help him to go over it.[6]

He was in Corean Enterprise facility during all the siege of New Avalon.

He considered Aremas Heuaventas in the same awe he remembered his grandfather, and mentioned to her sister Aremas always made sure he brought him something from every world he visited, whether on duty or not.[3]

Late April 3071 he was exhausted like all the team with the finishing touches that were needed to complete the Legionnaire and the expected visit of Marshal of the Armies Jackson Davion to review it.[6]

His experience in the Hussar helped him with the Legionnaire as he got insights that helped with the armor allocation and system distribution.[5]

He expressed to his sister his desire to meet Reinhardt Steiner, saying that "from all the stories around here, you'd swear he had single-handedly choked the Falcons and sent them running home to Kerensky."[5]

On the 17th of December, he confronted Aremas Heuaventas after he disappeared with one of the prototypes for around thirty minutes, sabotaging the locator. All the base was on alert and was going to search for Aremas when he reappeared. During the chat, Aremas confirmed that he had gone to visit his old homestead.[7]

On a chat with her sister on the 18th same month, she told her he felt the loss of Reinhardt Steiner and also on the news of the 5th FedCom RCT arrival and how they nuked past one of the WoB blockade ships. He also told her that there were more movements of Federated Suns forces rearming with the latest caches of munitions, in preparations for a final offensive maybe.[7]

Chatting with her sister on January 3073, he told her Corean's idea was to keep two of the Legionnaires and ship the other two to any Corean facility far from New Avalon to start production of it using the first smuggler's ship available. He commented that during those days base was being reduced to skeleton crew and that seeing that Aremas Heuaventas had been given activate status, which mean he could be mustered to combat with one of the prototypes, he feared he would be next, and was worried that will all his medical conditions (the pins in his leg and his auditory imbalance problem), which mean the Federated Suns were desperate and feared a last-ditch attempt by the Word of Blake to take New Avalon.[2]
