Samson Sakamoto was an officer on the DCMS.

In 2930, Sakamoto led the Defense of Xhosa VII.[1] During the campaign, Sakamoto engaged in a 'Mech duel with the opposing Federated Suns commander General Wallace Mickertrick, outside of the capital city New Xhosa, in which both combatants died before reinforcements arrived.
The loss of the leadership of Sakamoto was a fatal blow to the defense of the world, and it fell to the Federated Suns in 2931.[1][2][3]
