Captain Susan Lean was a member of Delta Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

Lean was considered as of 3028, to have a youthful appearance which matched her last name, and kept her hair in a long pony tail.[2] She was however also reputed to be a cautious, stable and level-headed officer, who was able to discern the right moment to advance or retreat.[1]
This reputation gave her command of Lean's Company of Baker Battalion in Delta Regiment by 3028, including while on An Ting[2] and in the Battle of Misery, which was often used as a reserve company for advances by other units.[1]
She was also given command of Delta Regiment's Third Provisional Company based on these strengths following the Dragoons' post-Misery reorganization, in the hopes she could restore order to the troops sourced from Charlie battalion, who were much maligned in light of the controversies surrounding the alcoholic Major Neil Parella. The Third Provisional Company fought well in the Battle of Wapakoneta, but Lean was ultimately killed during the Battle of Crossing in 3029.[1]
