Major General Sylvia "Silky" Akaei was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 213th BattleMech Division as of 2764.[1]
History[edit]
Born to a prominent New Earth family, Akaei wanted to be a pilot from a young age, and came up through the ranks of the SLDF as an aerospace fighter pilot. As the only person to win the Geerson Flying Cross for three successive years, and a career total of thirty-four kills as of 2764, she was an incredibly accomplished pilot.
Her background resulted in her division being more focused than average on both aerospace ground support and anti-aircraft operations.[1]
