Proposal to keep[edit]
In light of the discussion about Star Trek, which I do support removing, I believe we should keep this page. It can, as the page asserts, be seen as a sort of predecessor to BattleTech. Unlike Star Trek and Shadowrun, it is not a "living" product, nor does it appear to be covered on Wikipedia--it does not even rate a mention on FASA's Wikipedia page. Given its arguable link to FASA's later development of BattleTech and the fact that it appears not to be preserved anywhere else, I am being proactive in saying "Keep this page." --Talvin (talk) 20:09, 11 March 2022 (EST)
- You do know I very specifically only picked on Star Trek right? I never mentioned any other games at all.--Dmon (talk) 20:12, 11 March 2022 (EST)
- I am not accusing you of anything. I knew Shadowrun was out there, and I went looking to see what else was tucked away in Miscellaneous. Mindful that Precedent can be taken as very important, I decided to park my thoughts here against a future day when somebody might say, "Hey, um, shouldn't we toss this like we did Star Trek?" As for Shadowrun...that gets tricky, and I am holding off on a position for now.--Talvin (talk) 20:15, 11 March 2022 (EST)
- Adding: No, to be very clear, sir, this was not addressed to you: the address on the envelope reads "To Whom It May Concern", and it may not be much read until some years hence.--Talvin (talk) 20:19, 11 March 2022 (EST)
