Game Rules
The Taurian Guards Regiment has the following abilities using the Rules Annex's Force Specific Rules from Field Manual: Periphery.
- Taurian Guards Corps abilities allows controlling players to select up to either two vehicles or 'Mechs from the appropriate column (in Periphery Random Rolling Tables) prior to randomly rolling the rest of the units composition.
- If Taurian Guards Regiment control the fastest 'Mechs they receive an Edge Point. For each Guard 'Mech that is faster a +1 point is applied to a maximum of +3
- When operating in Urban settings the 1st Battalion of the Taurian Guards Regiment receives the Overrun Combat special ability
Support
The Taurian Guards have permanently assigned Dropship and Jumpship assets to aid in their assigned task of defending the core worlds of the Taurian Concordat in the Hyades Cluster as part of the Taurian Guard Corps.[1]
