The Great Tax Debate

The Great Tax Debate was a written work, edited by Brusch Gret and published by Price Publishers, in 2589.[1]

Overview[edit]

This work included a collection of interventions in a debate before the Lyran Commonwealth's Estates General, regarding a proposal by Archon Viola Steiner to rebalance the Lyran tax system to provide relief for the Protectorate of Donegal, following the economic changes caused by the formation of the Star League and a period of popular unrest known as the Main Street Rebellion. The extracts provided by the book included ones from Archon Viola Steiner's own contributions to the debate.[1]
