General Timothy Cunningham was the commander of the First Kestrel Grenadiers, with the Federated Suns, from at least 3145 to 3148.[1][2]

Cunningham, with the First Kestrel Grenadiers, was based on Markesan as of 3145.[1]
Later, during the Draconis Combine invasion of the Suns in 3148, Cunningham led a desperate defense against the Hikage on Remagen. Choosing to sacrifice the Grenadiers, in the hope it would give the accompanying First Avalon Hussars' technicians time to restore that unit to full strength, Cunningham managed to delay the Hikage long enough to meet his objective at the cost of heavy casualties.[2]
