Planetary History

Vinton was jointly owned by Clan Diamond Shark and Clan Smoke Jaguar world until the Inner Sphere Trial of Refusal on Strana Mechty, and the destruction of Clan Smoke Jaguar. The planet had always been a source of friction between the two Clans and in early 3060 the Sharks were preparing for a Trial of Possession. The attack on Huntress proved the perfect opportunity for the Sharks who took control of the world exclusively within two weeks of the Great Refusal.
