Warner Doles is a former contributor to several BattleTech sourcebooks including Dawn of the Jihad and Jihad Hot Spots: 3070 and a former web moderator of the official Battletech forums.
The character Warner Doles was named after Doles as the result of a charity auction to have the winner's name canonized in BattleTech fiction.[1]
Doles is a registered sex offender[2] who was found guilty in 2007 of assault on a female and indecent liberties with a child, events which occurred in 2005.[3]
