Overview

Founded by then Steel Wolves leader Anastasia Kerensky when she was dissatisfied by the state of the Steel Wolves. This led to the splintering Clan of unworthy members, what remains of the Steel Wolves in July 3135.

History

The hunters were hired to stop the Wolf Empire invasion of the Lyran Commonwealth in 3143, by Duke Vedet Brewer.[1] Lead by Anastasia, they defeat the Wolves on planets Hollabrunn, Senftenberg, Dar-es-Salaam, Mariefred, stopping the Wolf offensive.[2] Their victory in planet Hyde was a short one: they forced the Wolves to retreat, but after the Hunters left the planet, Alaric Wolf took the planet easily. But their luck changed on Smolnik. There, Alaric uncovered a plan by Anastasia to turn a city into a trap. Expecting to finally kill Alaric, he defused the trap by gassing the city, putting the civilians and soldiers to sleep. Despite the fact that Anastasia killed Verena Wolf, lover and Alaric's second-in-command, Alaric defeated Kerensky and claimed her as a bondswoman afterward.

Destruction

Two-thirds of the Wolf Hunters mercenary unit either were captured or killed, neutralizing them as a threat permanently.[3]
