Xatt Dague was the commander of the Fourth Amaris Dragoons in the mid-twenty-eighth century.[1]

History[edit]

Xatt Dague came from a long line of MechWarriors going back to the early twenty-sixth century. His family's estate on Timbuktu held the largest collection of privately owned BattleMechs in the Rim Worlds Republic, and he could already pilot a Locust four years before entering the Apollo Military Academy at the age of sixteen.[1]

After graduating in 2716, Dague was immediately assigned to the Fourth Amaris Dragoons and deployed to the region around Star's End. He became their commanding officer in 2740, and in the aftermath of the Gustrell Massacre of 2746 his unit was moved to Gustrell to coordinate with the Second Lyran Guards. He distinguished himself as a legendary autocannon/5 marksman by challenging the Lyrans to Gunslinger-style duels, defeating opponents more favored to win and earning his nickname of "Eagle Eye."[1][2]

After the Second Lyran Guards left Gustrell, Xatt Dague continued to make a name for himself by performing at military parades to draw more interest in the Rim Worlds Army. Later, he spent time at the Apollo Military Academy teaching courses in ballistics and 'Mech piloting.[1]

BattleMech[edit]

While stationed on Gustrell, Xatt Dague piloted a Shadow Hawk.[1]

Notes[edit]

Xatt Dague's profile in Era Report: 2750 indicates he was the commander of the Fourth Amaris Dragoons until 2775, but this is in conflict with Historical: Liberation of Terra Volume 1, which states Colonel Armstrong Duket was the commander of the Fourth during the Coup in 2766[3] and that previously, General Javier Park had been its commander before being promoted at that time.[4]
