Armor may refer to:

• An alternate name for some types of ground-based Combat Vehicle.
• The protective plating carried primarily by military units.
  • Standard BattleMech and Vehicle Armor, used by most combat units smaller than a JumpShip
  • Aerospace Armor, used by aerospace fighters
  • Commercial Armor and Industrial Armor, used by IndustrialMechs
    • Support Vehicle Armor, used by vehicles not designed for combat
  • Ballistic-Reinforced Armor, used by combat units
  • Ferro-Aluminum Armor, an improved form of armor used by aerospace units, stronger but bulkier than standard
    • Light Ferro-Aluminum Armor, not as strong but less bulky
    • Heavy Ferro-Aluminum Armor, stronger and bulkier
  • Ferro-Fibrous Armor, a stronger, bulkier form of armor for ground combat units
    • Light Ferro-Fibrous Armor, less bulky but not as strong
    • Heavy Ferro-Fibrous Armor, bulkier and stronger
  • Ferro-Lamellor Armor, used by ground and aerospace units
  • Hardened Armor, strong armor used by 'Mechs and ground combat vehicles
