Template:R to policy namespace
(Redirected from Template:R to policy)
When used with the "Redirect category shell" (Rcat shell) template:
This page is a redirect. The following categories are used to track and monitor this redirect:
|
- Template Redirect category shell may be used to add one or more redirect cat templates, along with their parameters and categories, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation page below.
When used by itself:
- To a policy page: This is a redirect from any page inside or outside of policy namespace to a page in that namespace.
- The above category link leads to a list of redirects from inside policy namespace. For redirects from outside help space, see Category:Redirects to policy namespace.
This template should not be substituted nor used to tag soft redirects. |
Purpose[edit]
This redirect category (rcat) template sorts redirects into one of two categories:
- Category:Redirects to policy namespace – for pages in other namespaces being moved to the information namespace or
- Category:Redirects to policy pages – for pages already in the information namespace and are redirects to other information pages
This rcat also populates the following:
- Category:Unprintworthy redirects – only redirects from main-article namespace (mainspace)
Usage[edit]
- Apply this rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT Policy:(target page name)
R to policy namespace
- The template Rcat shell is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation on its template page.
#REDIRECT Policy:(target page name)

- and when the redirect is in article mainspace, printworthiness should also be tagged:
#REDIRECT Policy:(target page name)
