− Myomer Armor is an armor innovation introduced in the Lyran Alliance by Kyoto College in 3047. It consists of several layers of powered myomer bundles and ballistic weave cloth; the armor system mimics (to some degree) sub-dermal myomer implants. Myomer armor is extremely expensive, but provides a very high level of protection with minimal physical restrictions. + Myomer Armor is an armor innovation introduced in the Lyran Alliance by Kyoto College in 3047. Like most armor, myomer armor comes in two types of coverage. Myomer suits cover the torso, arms, and legs. A myomer vest only covers the torso. In Classic BattleTech play, infantry wearing Myomer suits are treated as having a damage divisor of 2, greatly increasing an infantry unit's survivability. This benefit is offset, however, by the armor's encumbrance which prevents units using this armor from making anti-'Mech Infantry attacks. Like most armor, myomer armor comes in two types of coverage.
