− Don't own Klondike, due to my vitriolic refusal to own any books which perpetuate the lie of Wolverines joining ComStar, but Shengli Arms was supposedly configured to build the Sling which is why it was used as the basis of the Duan Gung, does it shed any light on that link or who might have owned/operated the factory on Victoria that became Shenli Arms during the Star League era? :No. I just read the entry, and unfortunately there is no mention of Shengli Arms, Victoria, or the CCAF. By the beginning of the Amaris Civil War, Mountain Wolf BattleMechs had produced limited numbers on the Lyran world Vendrell for testing, which they conducted in the nearby Periphery. Though the design was being marketed to the Lyran Commonwealth, MWB began selling Slings to the SLDF instead, whose size meant they could use the design properly in its specialty role, mine-deployment and reconnaissance (H:OK, pp. 161-162, "Sling")--S.gage (talk) 17:41, 25 August 2023 (EDT) :No. I just read the entry, and unfortunately there is no mention of Shengli Arms, Victoria, or the CCAF. ::Yes I since overcame my issues and purchased Klondike a few years after my comment, twice even after I was able to pick up an affordable physical copy. Only place that mentions Sling being at Victoria is TRO3060 which introduced the Duan Gung and that doesn't say who owned the factory there that Shengli Arms became.Cyc (talk) 17:47, 25 August 2023 (EDT) ::Yes I since overcame my issues and purchased Klondike a few years after my comment, twice even after I was able to pick up an affordable physical copy.
