Dulaney was a member of MacLeod's Regiment, who served in the Regimental headquarters, and participated in the defense of Northwind following the Northwind Highlanders declaring independence from the Federated Commonwealth. Dulaney was part of Colonel William MacLeod's headquarters, when it was subject to an unsuccessful Head Hunting strike on 25 September 3057 conducted by the First NAIS Cadre under orders from Field Marshal Harrison Bradford, which was foiled by Highlanders Major Loren Jaffray.[1]
