On 2 May 3062, the St. Ives Compact DropShip Carthage was on approach to St. Ives, returning from a journey to New Avalon with St. Ives Military Command Liaison to the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth Simone Devon, when the Capellan Confederation JumpShip You dú Xin-Zàng misjumped in close proximity to it, breaking into several pieces. The Carthage crew immediately rendered aid to the stricken craft, though rescue crews were later killed when Petyr Andreyvich deployed the UrbStryc-A nerve gas he had intended to use against the royal palace.[1]
