Star Captain Erick Tseng was a MechWarrior and member of Clan Ghost Bear during the thirty-first century.[1][2]

History[edit]

304th Assault Cluster[edit]

In 3058, the then Star Commander Erick was a member of the 304th Assault Cluster, who were tasked with raiding Crusader Clan Wolf holdings on Thun while looking to recover the stolen genetic legacies of Clan Ghost Bear's founders. Using a modified Executioner-B, Erick attacked an underwater facility in caves under Jagger Bay, destroying at least a star of Wolf 'Mechs and submarines. His mission allowed the Ghost Bears to identify the Wolves as the raiders responsible for the theft of the genetic legacies.[1][2]

357th Assault Cluster[edit]

Following the recovery of the founders genetic material, Erick was promoted to Star Captain, was sponsored and won a Tseng Bloodname. He was also transferred to the 357th Assault Cluster of the Clan's Omega Galaxy, where he was recognized for his experience on unique battlefields, such as underwater and in space.

His skill in combat in a vacuum was shown during an engagement where he led his Trinary onto the hull of their DropShips while in space against attacking Clan Wolf forces, destroying two Stars of Aerospace fighters and a DropShip, which ventured into extreme close range where his 'Mech could engage.[1]

BattleMechs[edit]

Erick was known to have piloted a Executioner-B during his engagement on Thun, and later a Warhawk (Masakari) when he was with the 357th Assault Cluster.[1][2]

Quotes[edit]

"Do not let your ego stand in the way of your mission"

Notes[edit]

This character was created as part of the 2019 Clan Invasion crowdfunding campaign by a backer, and is intended to reference the player protagonist in the MechWarrior 2: Ghost Bear's Legacy computer game, canonizing a number of the previously apocryphal events depicted in that product.
