History[edit]
During the Battle of Tokasha in 2921, the Seventy-seventh's aerospace fighters were deployed over the Weißenborn Morass against their opposite numbers from the Seventeenth PCG.[1]
In 3059 the Seventy-seventh was stationed on Eden; by 3067 it had been transferred to Tokasha.[2] [3]
During the Clan's "stampede" into the Inner Sphere the Seventy-seventh spearheaded the attack on Nyserta in November 3070, where the Second Wolf Guards Grenadiers battled them for three weeks before the surviving Wolves ceded Nyserta to the Horses.[4]
By 3079 the Seventy-seventh had been posted to New Bergen, with the unit being at half-strength. A year later the Seventy-seventh was mauled on Harvest when Clan Wolf reclaimed the world. By 3085 the Cluster had been moved back to New Bergen and had been reduced to barely one-fifth of its official strength.[5] [6] [7]
In 3145 the Seventy-seventh was stationed on Trell I and was at around two-thirds of its establishment strength.[8]
