History
A prestigious and efficient unit, with a history of uneven leadership, command of the Third Donegal Guards is a much coveted post.[1]
The unit won a victory on Shiratori during the Fourth Succession War.[2]
Under the mediocre leadership of Thanom Hammerskjold, the third was defeated by House Imarra on Styk in 3057. The unit was transferred to Pandora after its recall from Styk.[3]
The unit participated in Operation Bulldog, attacking the Jaguars on Tarazed.[4]
FedCom Civil War
The Third defeated Argyle's Lancers on Crimond, and later moved to Cumbres to defend Tharkad against moves from Arc-Royal. [5]
As of 1st August 3067, the third was on Cumbres and at 85% strength.[6]

Leutnant-General Wendell Power replaced Thanom Hammerskjold as Commanding Officer in 3058.
