::Tactics works for me, but "CBT" is wrong. 'Mech jockeys did the same things in the Star League era and do the same things in the Dark Age era.

::: CBT refers to the board game, not any specific era. That said, still out of place considering for example Alpha Strike is more clicky orientated than CBT themed. Cyc 01:15, 29 September 2008 (CDT)

::::I was going for brevity. I think "volley fire" is a tactic, while "DFA" is more of a maneuver, so perhaps these two articles should not be in the same category. That said, all three of the things that are currently in the category are things you can do in CBT. The meaning of an alpha strike remains the same no matter the game, it's just that it has actual game effect in DoA and is a CCG card. Perhaps the article should be split up for the different games, but that discussion would be better suited on the talk page of the article in question. --Scaletail 19:26, 29 September 2008 (CDT)

::::Why complicate things further? We could just use BattleMech Tactics and have a "Game play" section when relevant. That solve all the issues. --Ebakunin 09:49, 30 September 2008 (CDT)

Tactics?

Is Tactics the right word? Combat Maneuvers or Combat Moves would probably be more accurate. Frabby 16:23, 28 September 2008 (CDT)

Tactics works for me, but "CBT" is wrong. 'Mech jockeys did the same things in the Star League era and do the same things in the Dark Age era.
CBT refers to the board game, not any specific era. That said, still out of place considering for example Alpha Strike is more clicky orientated than CBT themed. Cyc 01:15, 29 September 2008 (CDT)
