History
Created early in the Military build up of the Terran Hegemony. The 331st Royal Battlemech Division was formed from the core of the 7th, 8th, and 13th Northern Brigades. Originally made from battletank forces, it wasn't long that the 331st was turned into a battlemech force, with the influx of the new technology.
