As of early 3028, Gersbach was a member of the Recon Lance, Flandrey's Company of Baker Battalion. Following the Battle of Misery, where her 'Mech was destroyed, Gersbach joined the Assault Lance of Beta Regiment's Third Provisional Company. She subsequent went on to fight with the Third Provisional in the Battle of Wapakoneta, where she was ultimately killed.[1]

Gersbach was known to initially pilot a Falcon BattleMech, which was destroyed on Misery, after which she piloted a Marauder.[1]
