Known as "the Black Crusader", [1] Evelyn Buhallin was an officer serving in Clan Jade Falcon’s touman during the Clan Invasion era. In 3052, she held the rank of Star Colonel and commanded the 305th Assault Cluster.

Tukayyid

Known as a level headed, even dispassionate, Warden before Tukayyid, the loss of so many comrades seemed to have a serious effect on the Star Colonel. After the battle with the Com Guard, she gained a single-minded obsession in killing as many Inner Sphere warriors as possible, painting dozens of red kill markers on her OmniMech, earning her nom de guerre. [2]

Abthaka

Sometime prior to 3058, The Star Colonel was captured by the Goliath Scorpions, reinstated as a warrior, and earned a promotion to Galaxy Commander. While commanding Tau Galaxy and 4th Scorpion Uhlans, she instituted more strict usage of zellbrigen and paired the traditional speedy and fluid Scorpion tactics with "bolder" Falcon attacks. The increase in aggressiveness was seen to improve the Galaxies' chances at being at the forefront of any future offensives. Star Colonel Buhallin's experience with REVIVAL and the dishonorable tactics of the Inner Sphere, especially at Tukayyid, were a point of awe and disbelief among her Galaxy's warriors, and a warning. One which they took to heart in the increased training.[3]

BattleMech

At least in 3052, then Star Colonel Evelyn Buhallin piloted a jet black Hellbringer.
