Captain Li Hsien was an officer and MechWarrior with the Eridani Light Horse during the last years of the Third Succession War.[1]
History
Hsien was the commander of the Twelfth Company ("Lightning Company"), Seventh Striker Battalion of the 21st Striker Regiment from at least 3023 until 3025.[2]
In this role, during April and May 3023, Hsien participated in the six-week campaign of the Battle of Hoff. Together with four battalions of the Eridani Light Horse, under contract to the Federated Suns, he helped defend a cadre of scientists from raiders fighting for the Draconis Combine, including Wolf's Dragoons. Two lances of Hsien's Lightning Company defended Johnson's Farm on Hoff, a significant agricultural holding and source of fresh water, against an attack by Natasha Kerensky and her Black Widow Company.[1]

BattleMech
Hsien was known to pilot an Archer BattleMech.[2]
Notes
The date of the Battle of Hoff, which was mention as occurring in April and May 3022 in the Tales of the Black Widow Company, was later corrected by the Wolf's Dragoons (sourcebook) to have been between April and May 3023.[3]
