The Cobalt Coil is a bar located between the poor and middle-class sections of the Cathay district of Solaris City, near the intersection of Angel Avenue and Sorrenson Street.[1] It is a colorful yet rough place where 'Mech jocks, pilots, and techs often gather to exchange information and tall tales. The bar is popular among tourists looking for local color or the chance to see an authentic Solaris bar fight.[2]
