Planetary History

Porthos was originally settled by Inheritors from the Elysian Fields.[9]

Clan Invasion

The system was quickly conquered by Clan Ghost Bear during Operation REVIVAL in September 3049. When the Ghost Bears originally arrived they had expected no resistance, only to find a single warrior standing in their way: Uchi Tikidomo, formerly of the DCMS, who had retired to Porthos after serving with distinction in the War of 3039 where he planned to live out his days in peace. Tikimodo met the Ghost Bears at their landing site in his Archer and promptly challenged them for control of his defenseless world. The Ghost Bears immediately accepted his challenge, and Star Captain Ian DelVillar of Ourse Keshik's Alpha OmniMech Star won the right to face off against Tikidomo in his Nova. While the mismatched fight ended in a predictable fashion, Tikidomo's tenacity in the face of adversity so impressed the Star Captain that he agreed to hire the former warrior as a liaison between the planet's government and their new Clan overlords.[10]

Post-Invasion

The Bears had trouble integrating the system into their Occupation Zone, however, and more problems integrating it into the Ghost Bear Dominion. In the early 3090s, the Bears saw that Clan Hell's Horses was just giving up on some marginal systems, and decided to follow suit. Porthos was handed back to the Inheritors and the Bears withdrew to more complex systems. Porthos later joined with Santander V to form The Havens.[9]
