Description
First produced in 3030 by Rowell Sport Vehicles, the Bayamo Hoverbike is a civilian hovercraft. It was intended for the middle-class civilian marketplace on well-off worlds in the Federated Suns.[1][2]
The vehicle targeted young consumers, and proved a sales success in its time. By the time of the Jihad the Bayamo had failed to make inroads on wealthy worlds outside the Federated Suns. Though off-road capable, the vehicle is typically not used by its owners for off-road recreation.[1][2]
Equipment and Capabilities
The vehicle was loosely based on a military vehicle maunfactured during the Succession Wars by GM, who owns Roswell. Fitted with a Bicycle Chassis and Controls Modifications, the Bayamo has a Electrical motor, which propels the lightly built vehicle upwards to 180 km/h. The bike is also equipped with 1 pillon crew and passenger seat (50kg) and one handheld searchlight (5 kg) mounted in front of the vehicle.[1][2]
Cargo
The vehicle is also capable of transport with 68 kg standard worth of cargo.[1][2]
Notes
As of this writing, the Bayamo Hoverbike has no record sheet nor battle value assigned to it.
